Life in the Son runs entirely on the generosity of our volunteers. Volunteers give their time, talent, skills and dedication to the work of the ministry. Teams of volunteers impact hundreds of lives everyday as they serve God and the church. Few other activities offer the kind of satisfaction one gets from serving in a church. We are always on the look-out for volunteers who can serve with our Communications, Kids, Administration, Music or Ushering teams. Listed below are exciting volunteer ministry opportunities in which you can get involved.

Kids Ministry

Kids Ministry trains the next generation to honor God and make disciples through fun activities, games and presentations at our weekend services. If you have a heart for children

If you have a heart for children ages 2 (walking toddlers) to 12 years and would like to teach, host games, make crafts, or tell stories, be part of Kids Ministry!

Communications Ministry

Communications Ministry volunteers provide creative input through photography, video production, graphic layout, and content for print, online media and various church events.

Music Ministry

Music Ministry leads the church into the presence of God through praise and worship at weekend services; it also provides musical services for funerals, weddings, and other special church events. If you can sing, play musical instruments, write songs or arrange music, please feel free to sign up for this ministry.

Ushering Ministry

Ushers maintain order, greet guests, help people find seats, collect the offerings, and distribute materials, and serve the security needs of our weekend gatherings and special events. Our ushers are some of the most service-oriented and hospitable people in the world!

Audio Visual / Tech Team

The tech team assists in the audio and visual technology aspects of our Sunday services and events. Some of the roles in this ministry include camera operator, lighting operator, audio tech, visual tech and stage helper. Training will be provided to the new members of this ministry.
