Pentecost Sunday

When Jesus commanded us to preach the gospel to all nations, you may ask, "Does Jesus mean me?"

If we look at ourselves through only human eyes, there are so many reasons to say, "Jesus can't mean me. I'm too quiet/loud, emotional/unemotional. I think too much/too little and do too much/too little."

While the call was meant for us all, He never meant for us to do the work alone. When He ascended to heaven, the promised Holy Spirit came to His disciples on Pentecost Sunday. Through the Holy Spirit, they received power to preach the gospel to all nations.

Today, the Holy Spirit continues to empower us to boldly proclaim the gospel to every nation, regardless of who we are or not, and what we think we have or do not have.
